COUNTING SHEEP

Weep silent night
for we have made more room
for sheep
than children.

2000 years may come and go
yet the seed we sow.....
barely changed.
We muster our children
into rooms too small
and wonder why we have so many
small roomed minds.
The herod of underachievement strikes
murdering potential.

Weep silent night
The slaughtering is great
for we have made more room
for sheep
than children.
